1 Current telephone number can be
taken over at half the normal installation charge by means of Supersedure agreed
to by both the previous tenant (in whose name the phone is listed) and the new
tenant. Each party needs to call the telephone company. Note GTE has the studio
apartment address listed as 229A.
2 If new tenants take over existing
service without change, the cost is $2.
3 A standard container consists of a metal
or plastic 32 gallon, or smaller, container with handles and a lid.
Maximum weight, including refuse, must not exceed sixty (60) pounds.
Containers exceeding that weight may be subject to non-pickup.
Distance Charge will be incurred for pickups made beyond one hundred
(100) feet from the designated roadway.
All extra trash must be placed at the curb and be appropriately bundled.
Yellow "Extra Trash" tags will be provided upon request. These tags
must be fastened to each item. You will be charged extra for each item picked up
on your next bill.
Yard Trimmings may be bundled or placed in a plastic bag in lieu of a
can. Maximum length of a bundle is four (4) feet. It must be tied together and
weigh no more than sixty (60) pounds.
Appliances (white goods) can be brought to our facility (136
N Quarantina St) for recycling at no extra charge.
Special Haul Service. If you have excess refuse, old furniture, moving
boxes, etc., please call our office for pickup information. Free estimates will
be given.
Holiday Collections will not be made on the following holidays: New
Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and
Christmas Day. If your regular collection day falls on one of those holidays,
your pickup will occur one day prior, or one day following the holiday.
